Twenty million records and several thousand concert shows ago, three young men in letter sweaters hit the music charts with their first single, The Way You Look Tonight. Hit after hit followed and their signature sound made romantic standards of songs such as When I Fall in Love, Theme From a Summer Place, Put Your Head on My Shoulder, and Hurt So Bad, as well as over 50 albums filled with special romantic Lettermen harmony. One deejay said The Lettermen sound was “the best thing that happened to romance since moonlight.” Throughout the years, the trio has undergone a few personnel changes, but the group’s beloved music and classy style has secured their spot as one of the greatest vocal groups of all time.
