The history continues as the great grandchildren of the Captain and Maria von Trapp take up the family tradition anew. Meet Sofia, Melanie, Amanda, and August von Trapp, four siblings who, for the last 12 years, have been singing on stages around the world to critical acclaim and packed houses. After many years of extensive touring, the von Trapps completed a collaborative album with Thomas Lauderdale and Pink Martini. Emboldened by that collaboration, flourishing in the rich creative world of their adopted hometown of Portland, Oregon and burgeoning with new ideas, The von Trapps cast off on their own to trail blaze a new musical path.
