Exploring the Mother Road

Sunday, October 18, 2015 at 2PM
Tickets: $12 Student/Senior: $10

Join us at noon for “A Taste of Route 66,” slightly north of the “Mother Road” on the west patio of the Haugh Performing Arts Center. Organized by the Glendora Chamber of Commerce, local “Route 66” businesses from our area will be selling their delicious and special fare all in one place. Then, join filmmaker and RV Adventurer John Holod as he presents his travel film and takes us on a journey across America from the comfort of our seats. Dubbed the ‘Mother Road’ by novelist John Steinbeck, Route 66 stretches from Chicago to Los Angeles with kitschy roadside attractions, classic drive-ins, museums, and more fun along the way.
