The world-famous Orquesta Sinfónica del Estado de México is returning to the United States for the first time since 2008. Joining the orchestra for this performance is Alfonso Moreno, one of the greatest interpreters known to the world of classical guitar. Founded in 1971 by Maestro Enrique Bátiz and the State Government of Mexico, the Orquesta Sinfónica del Estado de México aims to promote music as a means of union and identification among Mexicans. A cultural gem of Mexico, the orchestra will present a varied evening of works such as Rodrigo’s Concierto de Aranjuez and one of Brahms classic symphonies. Maestro Enrique Bátiz is one of the most famous orchestra conductors in Latin America. A gifted artist, he has won international popularity and fame with his deep and profoundly emotional musical interpretations.
